On January 14, the BC Games Society and the Greater Vernon 2022 BC Winter Games Society announced the cancellation of the 2022 BC Winter Games. Event organizers and stakeholders will explore options to see if the region can deliver this multisport event in the future, possibly in 2023.

The tragic loss of two of our member club facilities last year has left hundreds of athletes, coaches, staff and volunteers without a place to call home.

With ongoing uncertainty related to the Omicron variant and COVID-19 pandemic, Gymnastics Canada has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2022 Elite Canada event in Women’s and Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG and MAG).
