Vancouver, BC (April 10, 2024) — Gymnastics BC (GymBC) in collaboration with Langley Gymnastics Foundation, is delighted to be hosting the highly anticipated 2024 Western Canadian Artistic Gymnastic Championships. The events will take place from Wednesday, April 18, to Friday April 20, at the Langley Events Centre in Langley, BC.

The Western Canadian Artistic Gymnastics Championships are held annually in one of the western provinces or territories (AB, BC, MB, NT, SK, YT).  The hosting of Westerns is shared equally among the provinces of AB, BC, MB, and SK on a rotation basis. The previous 2023 event was successfully hosted by Alberta Gymnastics Federation. 

“On behalf of the entire organizing committee at GymBC and the Langley Gymnastics Foundation, it is with great excitement that we extend our warmest greetings to all athletes participating in this year’s Western Canadian Artistic Gymnastics Championship,” states Jen Coimbra, Event Organizer and Langley Gymnastics Foundation Executive Director.

These championships are not just a showcase of extraordinary athleticism but also a celebration of the fundamental values that define our sport.  Team BC Men’s and Women’s Artistic Teams will feature over 80 athletes, 35 coaches and 5 team staff for the Western Canadian Artistic Championship event.  Additionally, BC will be comprised of 15 team staff and judges.

All are welcome to attend in person to see the athletes display their skills, dedication, and passion for artistic gymnastics. Admission tickets can be purchased at the door by card or cash.  Prices vary from $15 for day passes to $36 for a 3-day pass. Family passes are also available. For full pricing, click here.
