2024 GymBC AGM Recap

The 2024 Gymnastics BC Annual General Meeting (AGM) took place on November 6, held entirely over Zoom. This virtual meeting brought together GymBC members to review reports, approve financial statements, and elect new directors to the Board.

In accordance with GymBC Bylaws, 35% of Member Clubs must be present to form a quorum. This year, 34 Member Clubs attended the AGM, comfortably surpassing the required 24 clubs and reaching a quorum.

Two Director-at-Large positions were open for election this year, both with a two-year term. Jennifer Coimbra and Kyna Fletcher were elected to these positions. Additionally, Livia Lau was appointed to the board as Vice-Chair, filling one of two one-year Director-at-Large positions. The Board is actively seeking a candidate with accounting and finance expertise to fill the remaining vacant Director-at-Large position.
