We are seeking skilled experienced trampoline and tumbling coaches to join our team at the Vancouver Circus School. We are looking for people passionate about teaching trampoline and tumbling and enjoy working with children, youth, and adults. Responsibilities:
- Deliver trampoline training programs that meet the needs of students at different skill levels.
- Teach and demonstrate trampoline skills to students in a safe and supportive environment.
- Assess and evaluate students’ performance, and provide feedback to help them improve their technique.
- Plan and supervise classes, ensuring that safety rules are followed.
We are looking for someone who has the following:
- Level 2 Certification in trampoline coaching; first aid and CPR would be an asset.
- A passion for circus arts and a commitment to the school’s mission and values.
- At least 3 years of experience coaching trampoline skills, preferably in a circus or gymnastics setting.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to teach and explain techniques clearly and effectively.
- Excellent understanding of trampoline safety rules and regulations.
- Ability to work with students of different ages and skill levels, and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- A commitment to ensuring the safety of students.
Working Conditions:
This is a permanent position, with flexible hours. The job may require some physical activity, including lifting equipment and spotting students.
